This site was set-up in 2006 as a response to a lack of clear direction regarding e-learning in New Zealand.

HRDNZ (Moodle Partner) fund the development and maintenance of this site.
Our 'commercial payback' is that hopefully teachers in New Zealand will be aware of our Moodle training courses and other service where they ae appropriate to their needs
Please note as a Moodle Partner we give 10% of out income to Moodle and pay an annual Partner fee.
When you do business with HRDNZ you are contributing directly to the development of Moodle
This site has a number of policy statements that guide its development
- It should be completely free of any influence by government or political influence
This includes operating with no financial assistance from any external body (which could exert influence) - Development will be community driven
- The site will have a focus on the use of Moodle in Schools and with Home Schooling within New Zealand
